Music Lessons at Second Wind Music Centre
Peter McLaughlin:
A veteran Music Educator, conductor and local performer, Peter McLaughlin has been making music with high school students, community choirs, bands and church choirs in the Carleton County area since 1982. Since retirement from the school system in 2014, McLaughlin has been offering lessons for youth and adults (individual and small group) at Second Wind. He directs a community band which rehearses Monday nights at Carleton North High School.
He also conducts vocal ensembles (including the Tuesday Night Singers prior to the COVID-19 pandemic).
Lessons – all lessons are offered at a beginner or intermediate level and may be individual or small group unless otherwise indicated
- Guitar
- Ukelele
- Brass instruments (trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba/euphonium)
- Choir (small group)
Lessons in violin and piano may be available.
Prices subject to change
Individual lessons (30 minutes) $20.00
Small group (60 minutes, typically 4 – 6 sessions) $ variable depending on format
