Second Wind Music Centre is a repurposed 1890s church which offers music lessons and concerts to music lovers from Woodstock to Perth-Andover, NB. With great acoustics and superb sound in a warm, soft-seat venue, Second Wind is a unique space for special events from weddings to corporate functions to private parties.  We have carefully preserved the ambiance of the former church with its lovely stained glass and pressed tin walls and ceiling. The venue has professional lighting and sound, video equipment and a screen and digital projector.  It can accommodate 120 people standing, 100 in comfortable seating and up to 70 guests for a sit-down dinner. At present, Second Wind is NOT a licensed facility but renters can apply for a separate special permit licence if desired. There is a modest kitchen in the basement that works well for catered events and pot lucks.

Second Wind is wheelchair accessible to all levels and has 2 accessible parking spaces on the upper parking lot.   The main parking lot has space for 20 vehicles and there is additional parking a short walk away.

Rentals include the use of tables, chairs, professional sound and light systems, large screen and digital projector.  Additional services of a sound/video technician, bar tender, decorator, etc. may be provided at additional cost. Table linens and glasses are also available for a small fee.

We also have contacts for event planning services, photographers, caterers and can suggest local accommodations.

NOTE:  The following are SAMPLE RATES only and are subject to change.

One Day Rental Fees (Half day rentals available at a reduced cost)

• $200: Rental of main venue space including use of kitchen, tables and chairs, sound and light system, microphones, large screen and projector, electric Grand Piano.

Two Day Rental Fees

• $500 Weddings & Receptions: Rental includes rehearsal & decorating time the day before the wedding, the wedding day, and everything above.
• $300 Wedding Ceremony Only: Rental includes setup, rehearsal & decorating time the day before the wedding and the wedding day.
